Senior/ Payroll Accountant

SENIOR/ PAYROLL

ACCOUNTANT

Reporting directly to the Controller, Strip District Company, CombineNet, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Payroll Accountant. This position will have a hands-on role in all corporate accounting functions, financial reporting, month-end close process, year end audit.



Responsibilities of Senior/Payroll Accountant:

*Process payroll (ADP), 401k, garnishments

*Track Cobra payments paid and received

* Process local service tax and city payroll tax

*File franchise and business privilege taxes

*Process accounts payable invoices and expense report expenses for payment

*Process and track purchase requests

*Preparation of daily/ monthly journal entries and account reconciliations

*Assist in month-end close

*Assist in the preparation of year end audits



Additional required skills:

*Possess solid financial and reporting skills in accordance with GAAP

*Bachelor's degree in Accounting

*At least 5 years experience in all aspects of accounting and financial reporting

*Proficient in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel and Word)

*Great Plains a plus, ADP payroll software a must

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Can work independently and in a team environment
