Senior Payroll Tax Accountant

Our client is searching for a senior payroll tax accountant to oversee the day to day responsibilities for the company. The corporate payroll includes exempt, non-exempt and part-time employees for roughly 30,000 persons in all states. This is a fast paced environment and the incoming will prepare all federal, state and local payroll tax returns and reports to the Payroll Tax Manager. Candidates will need:  4-year degree, preferred 2-4 years multi-state payroll tax experience with large payrolls JD Edwards preferred or large system Review accounts for accuracy to determine tax accruals and payments Reconcile monthly general ledger accounts Reconcile 941’s to prepare for W-2’s at year end. Please reply with resume in WORD format to mmanganaro@acsysinc.com Acsys.
