Senior Reporting Analyst

The ideal candidate will be directly responsible for managing the financial reporting in the preparation of the firm's SEC quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) financial statements, including footnote disclosures and management's discussion and analysis, and the supporting tie out binder. Will also manage the annual financial statement preparation for the Company's affiliated subsidiaries. Ensures that all financial information is fairly stated in accordance with GAAP, SEC requirements and other regulatory requirements, as appropriate. Ensures the timely identification of significant and complex accounting issues and supervises the resolution and documentation of such issues. Documents issues in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner. Coordinates with the external auditors on external financial statements, accounting issues and SOX compliance to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, issues and policies and the effectiveness of the company's internal controls. Monitors and ensures compliance with evolving accounting guidance, and develops white papers on the impact and compliance with future accounting requirements. Communicates and explains accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management team.

B.S. in Accounting/Finance Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of financial reporting, SEC reporting, or public accounting experience required. Candidate is expected to demonstrate an ability to understand and apply GAAP and FASB guidelines, express the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities, and display solid written, verbal and presentation skills with a high degree of initiative, dedication and ownership. Applicant should also have strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as an aptitude for working on multiple tasks in a deadline-based environment, including consistent achievement of accurate and timely financial reporting. An understanding of COSO/SOX 404 philosophy along with experience in quarterly and annual attestation requirements is a plus. Oracle general ledger and experience in the financial services industry is also a plus.
