POSITION SPECIFICATION

 

Position  Senior RevenueAccountant



ReportingRelationship            Controller

 

BasicFunction   Works with company Controller to manage the company revenueprocess with accuracy and timeliness according to company guidelines.

 

Responsibilities

·Analyzecontracts, software licenses, and consulting time reports to properly recognizerevenue in a multi-national, multi-currency environment

·Reconcile andreport revenue, utilization, and gross margins on a monthly basis

·Create invoicesfor services, software licenses, and billable expenses

·Design andimplement revenue recognition controls and procedures

·Preparecommission reports for submission to payroll

·Managecollections and drive receivables to meet quarterly goals

·Coordinate anddirect budget preparation and update forecasts

·Manage and reportsales tax

·Suggestoperational improvements and process upgrades

·Responsibilities will focus on revenue, but will also require some involvement with costs andall other facets of the financial cycle

 

RequiredQualification 

·A minimum of fiveyears of experience in revenue accounting

·Strong computerskills including experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (i.e., databasefunctions, pivot tables), and Microsoft Word

·Flexibility andexcellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well with all levels ofinternal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors

·Ability to handlemultiple tasks in a high volume, rapidly changing, team-focused environment.

·Must have experienceworking with SOP 97-2 and Vendor-Specific Objective Evidence (VSOE)

·Foreign currencyexperience preferred
