Senior SOX Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a Senior SOX Analyst for are SOX Compliance area.  This position will be located at our offices in Chicago, IL.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Assist in the ongoing process of reasonably ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements across the Integrys organization. Partner with process and subprocess owners in: a) evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over the general ledger, financial reposting and general computer controls for the integrys energy group; b) ensuring that the financial controls and supporting records are prepared in accordance with company policies and GAAP. And c) maintaining relevant SOX documentation of noted deficiencies and monitoring remediation plans. Remain up-to-date of new regulatory requirements and company policies that may impact internal controls and SOX documentation.

 

Qualifications required:

 

The successful candidate must have a Bachelors Degree or experience in Accounting, Finance, business or related field.  5 + years of experience. One of the following certifications is preferred: CPA, CMA, CIA, and CISA. Knowledge of generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Excellent communication skills, Audit experience a plus
