Senior Sales and Use Tax candidate needed

Senior Sales and Use Tax candidate neededA large privately held company located on the West side of Atlanta is seeking a Sales and Use Tax Senior to conduct research and perform the following tasks.  · Research various state tax matters to arrive at the most advantageous but proper treatment under the tax law; prepares memoranda on conclusion.· Identify, analyze, and plan for state taxes from legal and operating structure changes due to mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.· Analyze proposed state tax laws, models impact of potential new tax laws and writes position statements on proposed tax laws.· Accumulate information for property tax compliance and various state tax credits.· Gathers data, formulate position statements, coordinate, or negotiate in respect of examination by state tax authorities.· Prepare correspondence to IRS and states  Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years of hands on experience in a similar role.  Qualified candidates should forward a word resume to JSilvers@acsysinc.com    Acsys.
