Senior Staff Accountant

Top Three Qualifications: 

1.  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related area

2.  Experience with system administration and in-depth knowledge of Solomon Accounting software.

3.  Three years progressive accounting experience with similar responsibilities especially using GAAP concepts, Fixed Assets accounting and FRx report writer software (or any other similar software).  Best Fixed Assets software experience is a plus.

 

Responsibilities include:

· Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial statements for review and analysis using GAAP concepts.

· Manage design and changes of financial reports using FRx software.

· Preparation and analysis of monthly supporting schedules for various G & A accounts and balance sheet accounts.

· Input fixed asset purchases into Best Software and the preparation of monthly schedules.

· Building accounting, journal entries and schedules.

· Preparation of sales tax return.

· Prepare monthly closing journal entries assign.

 

· AND/OR

· Monthly Bank reconciliation's.

· Prepare payroll journal entries and schedules.

· Contract files maintenance.

· ATPCO foreign office accounting, journal entries and schedules.

· Special projects or duties as assigned
