Senior Staff - Due Diligence

Overview:The Chicago Transaction Services group is currently looking for a Senior and a Manager to join our team. Virchow Krause transaction services professionals assist with a wide range of merger, acquisition, divestiture and capital services. Virchow Krause offers a dedicated team that brings deep industry understanding, financial expertise and technical knowledge. With nearly 1,300 professionals firm wide, VK works with many private equity, venture capital and mezzanine fund firms. Expert assistance includes transaction services, due diligence, valuation, industry specialization and capital.

Responsibilities:The Senior/Manager in Transaction Services will participate in Due Diligence engagements related to acquisitions by private equity investors and strategic corporate buyers. Analyze financial and operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management. Analysis of cash flows, quality of assets and earnings, potential risks and liabilities, and the impact of findings on valuation. Prepare preformed financial information. Perform industry and company research. Assist in writing detailed reports identifying key issues and summarizing sound conclusions.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
-Minimum of 5 – 10 years of Accounting and Audit experience
-Strong analytical and listening skills
-Good business acumen with the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
-Work and communicate effectively in a team environment
-CPA preferred
-Some travel required
