As a Senior Accountant within our general tax practice you will help to deliver tax consulting services to our clients. Having already passed the CPA exam or be in the process of obtaining licensure, your accounting skills are at the level where you “see the big picture” and can consult with clients about accounting and tax related issues.  

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 Prepare complex individual, partnership and corporate returns including others such as estate, gift, fiduciary, nonprofit etc.Identify key issues related to return preparationReview own work and show evidence in work papersPerform complex research and effectively communicate conclusionsAbility to formulate planning alternatives and suggest optionsMentors less experienced staffParticipates in niche groups, builds contacts with other professionals within the industry and begins identifying other services the firm can provide to it’s clients  

Requirements

 

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related discipline

 

3+ years public accounting experience preparing individual, partnership, corporate and other returns

 

CPA or be in the process of obtaining licensure

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Strong research, writing and analytical skills

 

Technically proficient in tax software
