Senior Tax Associate - Federal & State

Overview:

 

Responsible for the day to day delivery of tax consulting and compliance services to private companies and law firm clients.  Duties include the utilization, supervision, and development of staff.  Applicant must be capable of identifying and selling opportunities for additional tax services at existing clients as well as potential targets.  Strong communication, relationship management, and sales skills are critical.

 

Requirements:

 

4-7 years of strong technical tax background in federal and state taxation. Experience in tax research, consulting and compliance in a professional services firm, industry, and/or law firm is essential. Highly motivated and interested in taking the initiative for own personal growth and development. Demonstrated ability to identify tax consulting opportunities. Willingness to aggressively market services to existing and prospective clients. Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills; strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage a team of tax professionals.

 

Education:

 

Bachelor's degree required, CPA or related credential preferred.
