The day to day responsibilities of these positions include, but are not limited to, the following:Oversee Individual, Trust, Corporate and/or Partnership tax compliance. Supervise employees on various aspects of tax engagements.  Maintain current knowledge of tax compliance issues, policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current tax accounting standards. Coordinate audits of company accounts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with state and federal tax requirements and statutes.  Work directly with clients to resolve tax compliance issues. Work with various web based products to conduct tax research. Utilize programs such as Excel, Word and various tax software to conduct tax engagements. Engage in projects involving complex tax compliance and tax research issues. Applying specialized knowledge in accounting principles, taxation and finance to perform job duties that include conducting tax related research using standard reference materials and tools.  Identifying tax issues in assigned projects and proposing possible solutions.  Performing year-end tax planning and preparation of projected client liability. Prepare or direct preparation of Federal and State Individual, Trust, Gift Corporate and/or Partnership tax Returns as well as Corporation and/or Partnership Tax Returns.
