Senior Tax - Reporting Analyst

Outstanding Birmingham Company is looking to add a talented tax professional to their team. This position offers a wide variety of interesting tax work in a pleasant environment with great people. You will work in a small group of tax professionals and will be heavily involved in all aspects of corporate tax including federal and state research, a strong emphasis in the calculation of deferred taxes under FAS 109, review and documentation of tax timing differences, performance of various tax reconciliations, creation of spreadsheets and models to be used by management for planning purposes, tax provision preparation and planning, and various other special projects. This is a highly visible position and interacts with all levels of the organization.

Requirements include:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 2 - 5 years public or private tax experience. Candidate should possess analytical ability, and good communications skills. The ability to learn and interact with other professionals.Ability to perform and work as part of a team.
