Overview and Responsibilities:

This position will provide the opportunity to work with Apria's Treasury and Corporate Development department.  The Senior Analyst will provide support to the Vice President of Treasury, primarily in the form of the day-to-day cash management duties while simultaneously developing and maintaining external banking relationships.

- Oversee the daily cash management duties for the company, which will include reviewing all receipts and disbursements, verifying and transmitting wire transfers, as well as the reconciliation of bank statements.

- Reporting of treasury activities to the Vice President of Treasury and Chief Financial Officer.

- Assist in developing and implementing a new treasury software system and updated policies and procedures.

- Prepare and maintain periodic treasury reports.

- Prepare treasury cash flow forecast to minimize idle cash and maximize cash flow.

- Aid in the negotiation and maintenance of credit facilities, letters of credit and other financing arrangements, including financial and compliance reporting packages.

- Assist in the management of the company's relationship with commercial bankers, investment bankers, debt analysts, credit rating agencies and participate in the maintenance of relations with the investment community.

- Maintenance of relationships with internal departments to ensure ability to acquire needed data on a timely basis.

- Preparation of memorandums for the Senior Level Executives and the Board of Directors.

- Assist in providing analysis for strategic planning items.

- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

 

- 3 to 5 years treasury operations experience in a large corporate environment.

 

- Bachelor Degree in Finance or related major.

 

- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).

 

- Knowledge of SAP a plus.

 

- Must be poised, approachable and team player.
