Senior accountant: Large Company

My client is seeking a candidate to join their growing company. Company offers benefits from start date- tuition and 4 weeks vacation! Recording company transactions Develop financial statements and perform all reconciliation and analysis for general ledger accounts Implement accounting charges arising from new business operations Review monthly operating company financial statements and perform actual vs. plan variance analysis. Prepare monthly earnings package to management and provide actual vs. plan variance Develop ad-hoc financial statements/reports including related analysis. Determine the accounting procedures necessary to adopt new regulations or standards Assist operating companies, other internal service providers and external auditors with accounting related inquiries and requests. Oversee the development of accounting structures and reporting for new business operations. Perform special projects upon request.

 

Required: BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5 years public/private accounting experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Solid analytical abilities
The ability to interact with business leaders and associates and the ability to lead teams.
