Additional information may be found at www.citigroup.com or www.citi.com Citi Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi") are equal opportunity employers M/F/D/V and do not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.The individual in this diverse position will be responsible for providing service and support for the Treasury/Cash Management needs of the Smith Barney branch network and various operations areas within the firm.  This will include working with regional branch managers, sales staff and financial advisors in resolving customer inquiries. The role requires responding to inquiries regarding incoming wire transfers and ensuring proper credit to both internal and customer accounts on a timely basis.  This is particularly critical since items that are not properly credited fall into related suspense accounts causing customer dissatisfaction and potential risk of loss to the firm.  Additionally, tasks will also include the review, set up and approval of standing instructions for incoming and outgoing transactions via the Automatic Funds Transfer Service.  There will also be a number of Treasury related projects that are a part of this role.  The ideal candidate will have a college degree with 1-3 years of related experience. The individual must also possess good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.  Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is required.  The successful candidate must have the ability to quickly identify and resolve problems as well as multi-task and prioritize the workload.
