Monitor CIP (construction in process) account. In-depth understanding of GAAP requirements to ensure compliance to GAAP and Company policies, including treatment of leases, depreciation methods, and useful lives. Position is responsible for driving process improvements in these areas: interactions with Operations, Treasury, and Tax, asset custody, FA module, reporting capabilities, virtual team building, upfront approvals and authorization, forecasting & budgeting. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. Ability to build strong internal and external business partnerships. Partner with IT on end user specifications, testing and deployment of fixed asset modules for our global company. 1. Drive use of the CAR (Capital Acquisition Request) process. 2. Reconcile fixed asset subledger to general ledger on a monthly basis. 3. Reconcile on hand assets to subledger: asset tags, regular physical inventories scheduled over a specific time frame. 4. Financial and SEC reporting 5. Ensure Tax Dept is provided with accurate information from the fixed asset tax ledgers. 6. Collaborate with the Tax and Treasury Department on continuous process improvement 7. Financial Modeling 8. Partnership with business to research and analyze data, such as fixed asset purchases, buy verses lease decisions, cash flow, reconciliation variances, and disposals. 9. Project Management experience to take ownership and drive a) asset inventories, b) compliance to Company policies, c) overall asset management, d) reports/schedules. 10. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, and the ability to successfully communicate to a variety of people in a variety of physical locations with various levels of FA knowledge 11.
