Please read on for the full job description and to complete your online application.Assist management with the ongoing improvement and daily management of our cash functions.To successfully perform this job, the individual must be able to perform each essential job responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be to enable an individual with disabilities to perform the essential job responsibilities.1.Coordinate daily cash functions including the preparation of daily cash projections, maintenance of the forecasting model, and cash forecasting variance analysis as well as providing back-up support to manager in cash functions. 2.Assist with projects impacting our cash processing and account payable functions. Will require interaction with other departments including ISD, Claims, CSS, and other Financial units. 3.Monitor budget to actual bank charge information. Analyze and explain variances. 4.Act as a technical expert and resource for department staff. 5.Support the Company's system of internal controls over financial reporting and related policies and procedures including compliance with SOX (or equivalent) requirements for designated processes. 6.Improve processes within the Company to increase the level and quality of service provided to internal and external customers.Qualifications:The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.Required Education and/or Experience:oBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and continuing education related to the job. o3-5 years of related experience in accounting and treasury practices. oProject management experience is preferred.Job Related Knowledge and Skills:oDemonstrated team oriented work style and strong communication skills across various levels of the organization. oProficient with PCs and financial applications across multiple platforms. oDemonstrated achievements in financial analysis and results interpretation. oProven experience in cash management/cash forecasting.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceWe have created a competitive and flexible benefit program to attract and retain the best employees while maintaining our position in the industry as a leading super-regional property and casualty insurance company.
