Sr Accountant, CPA

General Summary:
Responsible for managing all general ledger, fixed asset, revenue/COGS and intercompany activity. Oversee and/or prepare all monthly balance sheet reconciliations and MRP reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
„« Oversee and perform all general ledger functions for Local Insight Yellow Pages, Listing Management and Regatta Holdings
„« Oversee and/or maintain and calculate all amortization schedules for intangibles and deferred financing costs, prepaid assets, debt discount etc.
„« Oversee all fixed asset purchases into the sub-ledger, determine useful lives based on the current accounting policy and record monthly depreciation expense into the individual general ledgers.
„« Calculate and prepare all intercompany billings.
„« Prepare the monthly reconciliation of all intercompany account balances to ensure all payable/receivables amounts agree between all the owned companies.
„« Prepare all balance sheet reconciliations LIYP, LILM and Regatta
„« Prepare monthly financial statement variance reports including actual to budget monthly, quarterly and year-to-date.
„« Help technical accounting with questions regarding external reporting and monthly cash flow summary
„« Oversee FA for COGS and reoccuring revenue entries
„« Research and provide solutions for accounting issues as they arise
„« Work with billing and collections to record revenue

Job Specifications:
„« BA/BS in Accounting.
„« Ability to exercise independent judgment in making decisions and resolving complex problems.
„« Organized, detail-oriented and thorough with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
„« Oracle experience a plus
„« Very strong Excel user
„« 5-7 years of Accounting including public accounting experience.
„« CPA required
