The successful candidate will be highly motivated, a detail oriented individual who is a quick worker with excellent communication, computer and organizational skills. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize and follow through in a fast-paced, multitask environment. This position reports to the Manager of Accounting.

Responsibilities: - Responsible for monthly close activities including journal entries, account Reconciliation’s, and consolidated financial statement preparation - Application of GAAP to complex transactions - Assistance with the annual audit process - Development and implementation of financial control procedures (SOX 404), corporate goals, policies and procedures relating to accounting and financial management - Drive process improvement initiatives - Integrate accounting functions for newly acquired entities Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred but not required - 4-6 years corporate accounting experience - Public Accounting firm experience preferred but not required - Large Public Company experience preferred but not required - Knowledge of GAAP - Extremely proficient in MS Excel
