Sr. Accountant, Investment Management

This position is responsible for compiling, maintaining and administering the accounting records pertaining to the investment activity within the Investment Management (IM) group.  Additional responsibility will also include the preparation of financial reports for management.

 

Knowledge, experience, skill, and/or ability

Required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent, or an advanced degree

• Must be able to perform various work assignments with limited supervision

• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.

Preferred

• Strong understanding of financial systems and internal controls

• Experience with modeling, forecasting and business decision making

• Investment industry experience, including familiarity with investment fund administration  

and waterfall calculations

 

Preferred computer skills

• MS Office

• Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Windows, PowerPoint

• Experience with accounting software programs and systems

 

Education/experience/certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting plus a CPA or Masters Degree and 3+ years relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
