Sr Accountant - Salary to $80k for the right candidate!

We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant for our client in Downtown Houston.  The qualified candidate will have the following responsibilites:

· Consolidate U.S. entities into the U.S. GAAP financial statements.

· Prepare comparable financial statements and related footnote disclosures for THUSA.

· Prepare various compliance documents and analyses, as needed.


 

· Ensure that transactions are properly supported and classified in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

 

· Support the Manager of Accounting with various financial issues, analyses, and evaluations.

 

· Research technical accounting issues and provide guidance.

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

· 2-7 years financial accounting experience

· CPA desirable, but not required.

· Good technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP

 

Salary Range : $65-$80k/year
