SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Sr. Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for compiling amounts owed from purchase orders, charge slips, sales tickets etc, and for preparing invoices, recording transactions, and maintaining all payment records.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Monitor Accounts Payable vouching and payments by checking Accounts Payable Invoices, goods receipts, P.O. reports and outgoing payment report

·  Apply incoming loan and outgoing interest loan and expense payments

·  Check customer rebate checks and post to FileMaker Pro and SAP

·  Verify and input vendor's invoice for purchase delivery

·  Perform Account Reconciliations

·  Review Accounts Payable aging report before issue checks

·  Prepare various reports and worksheets on weekly, monthly and as needed basis

·  Calculate interest payment for Short Term loan payable

·  Perform wire transfers

·  Respond to employee and management inquiries

·  Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·  2-4 years experience with Accounts Payable

·  BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred

·  Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a MUST

·  Experience with SAP a PLUS

·  Ability to multi-task and work under little supervision

·  Bilingual - Mandarin Chinese a PLUS

·  Must be detail-oriented, organized and possess follow-up skills

·  Experience with imports/exports

·  Customs duties and taxes a plus

Environment:  Normal office conditions

Physical Effort:  Position requires infrequent physical demands.
