Sr. Business Analyst

Position is responsible forOverall Accountability*Responsible for supporting the development of the overall revenue optimization pricing architecture through transaction analysis, process mapping, gap analysis, needs analysis and business case developmentKey activities*Identify trends and key insights from analysis of SYSCO transaction data*Support the pre / post-processing of optimized pricing and sales recommendations related to the pricing pilots *Analyze economic costs of current and future SYSCO service offerings *Develop new pricing strategies which account for the economic transaction costs of both products and services*Evaluate business needs for enterprise wide pricing solution and perform business process mapping of process and tools required*Perform gap analysis to evaluate critical areas for improvement and synergy with the pricing solution and SYSCO’s existing processes and infrastructure*Complete the SCDM pricing business case for pricing benefits through econometric modeling within a new pricing solution*Define end-to-end pricing processes that will govern the new pricing organization, integrate MA field knowledge and guide overall pricing *Manage and revise the stakeholder analysis, organizational risk assessment and adoption plan for revenue optimization act iviesKey Accountabilities*Development of new pricing methodologies, rules and governance *Development of business requirements required for enterprise wide revenue management package selection*Coordinate closely with IT and roll out team to support pricing tool selection and pricing pilot roll outCompetencies *Quantitative data analysis*Process mapping*Decision making*Strategic thinking and problem solving*Complete and thorough understanding of SYSCO’s businessQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to…*Possess excellent statistical and analytical expertise along with corresponding software skills*Have experience of database creation and management and data analysis. *Process Mapping; current and future business state including building case for change to include business and user requirements *Have excellent project management, planning and implementation skills*Shows sound judgment in problem analysis, problem solving, and strategic thinking*Possess solid verbal and written communication skills*Excellent skills in leading change and gaining commitmentEducation and/or Experience*College degree required*Masters /Advanced Degree a plus*7 or more years of business experience ideally with experience in modeling, pricing, customer relationship management systems or allLanguage Skills*Proficient/Excellent skills in verbal and written communicationsMathematical Skills*Advanced statistical analysisPhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
