As a key member of the Finance Department, you will perform essential finance/accounting duties in an energetic, team environment. Responsibilities will include: cash flow reporting, assisting in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and quarterly submissions to News Corp., providing detailed variance analysis for senior management and News Corp (actual versus budget and prior year), performing account reconciliations (inventory), general ledger maintenance, and assisting in the preparation of the annual tax package, compilation of financial information for external auditors and ad hoc projects. ill also be a key member of the Budgeting and Forecasting team. Requirements: -Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in either Accounting or Finance with 2+ years’ professional experience. -Candidate must possess strong accounting skills, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel, and must be organized, focused, and extremely articulate, with the ability to interact confidently with Senior Management. -In addition, you must have the ability to operate in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Prior experience in public accounting is strongly preferred (CPA or Form E complete).
