Title:  Senior, Financial Analyst

The Opportunity: 

Rennsearch is proud to announce a great opportunity situated in Culver City, CA.  Ever since they were founded in 1945 our client has written a significant chapter of medical and technological history and is now the global leader in the field of video imaging and the manufacture and distribution of endoscopic instruments. 

 

As a Sr. Financial Analyst you will be instrumental in providing business planning and analysis.  In this role you will be involved in creating distribution models, financial analysis, monthly and quarterly reporting.  The Sr. Analyst will be partnering with their sales team by providing sales compensation models, forecasting, pricing, quota methodology and calculations.The Position:

This position is reporting directly to the Associate Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. The primary responsibility is to provide business planning for distribution models, financial analysis, monthly and quarterly reporting / score boarding, developing sales compensation models, forecasting, pricing, quota methodology and calculation, budget development and variance analysis, database creation, statistical analysis, peer group analysis, sales tools implementation, and other ad hoc analysis.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
• MBA preferred
• 5 to 9 years of experience (preferably in a medium to large sized organization).
• Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Financial Modeling experience
• Ability to work from the macro to the micro level and vice versa.
• Familiarity with accounting concepts and income statement impact.
• Expert level Microsoft Excel (and an ability to manage/comprehend basic Visual Basic)
• Proficient with Microsoft Access
• Jump statistics software and SAP Business Warehouse a plus.
• Ability to interact with and support dynamic personalities in a multi-dimensional sales driven organization.
