Sr. Financial Analyst-External Reporting

Industry leader located in northwest Ohio & southeast Michigan is searching the market for a Sr. Financial Analyst-External Reporting.  The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:-Ensuring the accurate and timely filing of all SEC filings, including 10-K, quarterly 10-Q, quarterly 8-K earnings releases etc.-Coordinate, prepare and analyze financial statements and footnotes in press releases and forms filed with SEC-Key contact with external auditors to ensure proper coordination, timing and delivery of audit requests-Maintain and support technical accounting areas such as: Pension, Post-retirement accounting, equity based compensation and asset impairment testing.  -Researching implications in implementation of new accounting FASB’s and for the worldwide coordination and implementation of Sarbanes Oxley-Bachelors degree in accounting or finance is required, MBA or CPA is preferred-4 years of accounting or auditing experience and sound working knowledge of GAAP  Please provide current resume in a Word document along with daytime phone.  Excellent salary, benefit and retirement package will be provided to the selected candidate.   Equal Opportunity Employer   Position reports to (title): Corporate ControllerPlease email a copy of your resume in Word format to mergis-toledo@mergisgroup.com along with a daytime phone number.
