Sr. Manager/Director of Financial Reporting

JOB DUTIES:  Preparing and presenting Company's periodic financial statements, including quarterly and annual filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); Ensuring that financial information is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and is in compliance with SEC reporting rules and regulations; Researching and implementing new accounting pronouncements, including documenting and communicating their effect on our client company.  Maintaining Company's financial accounting policies; Managing technical accounting areas, including complex transactions and purchase accounting; Documenting, designing and testing internal controls related to corporate financial reporting to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, be a CPA and have 10 to 12 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably with significant audit experience serving publicly held companies at a Big 4 accounting firm. The ability to analyze complex accounting issues and transactions is important to success in this position.
