Sr. Manager of Financial Reporting (SEC)

Senior Manager of SEC Reporting  $90-109K+

The Manager of Financial Reporting and Accounting will play a critical hands-on leadership role ensuring corporate’s financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP, including all subsidiaries. This will require proactive management, communication, and evaluation of the policies, procedures and internal control systems related to financial reporting processes.  Specifically, the chosen candidate will:  Ensure the Company’s financial statements are timely prepared in accordance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements; Prepare the annual report, SEC reports and other various financial reports, including internal schedules and presentations for company management and the Board of Directors; Lead and coordinate the evaluation and improvement of internal controls and processes, the compliance with GAAP and the compliance with company accounting policies related to financial reporting processes; Keep informed of technical developments related to accounting (GAAP, FASB, etc) pronouncements and SEC reporting requirements and provide analysis of the actual and impending effect on the Company’s financial results and reporting requirements; Provide support to Investor Relations in the form of financial summarization and reporting for communications to the investment community; Have direct supervision responsibility for the financial reporting team of 3 individuals; and have frequent contact and work directly with the Executive Management Team, Treasury, Tax and Legal departments.  A minimum of 8 years experience (ideally some in public accounting) with progressively responsible financial roles focused on accounting, auditing, financial analysis and SEC reporting, strong technical accounting and reporting background – general ledger accounting, financial statement analysis and reporting, and project analysis, may qualify you.  Ideally you will also have experiences in mergers and acquisition activity, including due diligence and post-merger integration.
