Sr. Payroll Administrator

The Senior Payroll Administrator supports the Payroll Manager in directing the day-to-day operation of the Payroll department. As the PR Administrator you will coordinate the month-end accounting close including preparation/audit of journal entries and account reconciliation; Assists with and provide information for the 401(k) non-discrimination testing; Prepares multi-state bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for multiple departments using the SAP system and processing via ADP Connection and ADP’s PCPW software. He/she will also assists with the administration of the Company’s policies and procedures including bonuses, vacations, and FSA programs. 

 

Responsibilities:

· Troubleshoots payroll prep issues, reviews payroll results and audits payroll reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Responsible for the weekly/bi-weekly/monthly GL posting for Payroll

· Using SAP Time and Attendance system, oversees approval process of employee time worked from submission, supervisor approval through to payment. This includes running all SAP reports, identifying and contacting employees and/or supervisors when information is missing or inaccurate and reviewing FTO requests relative to current period

· Import current pay data into SAP, processes idoc through ADP Connection, audits results and current master file changes for successful loading into system before transmitting payroll to ADP for processing

· Receives and audits payroll results from ADP and loads into SAP

· Prepares manual checks for new hires, terminations, and pay discrepancies as needed; Processes stop payments and direct deposit recalls

· Prepares monthly accounting journal entries and prepares related account analysis; Reconcile the employee purchase GL account

·  Assist the Payroll Manager with Quarterly and Year End/W2 duties

 

 

Qualifications:

· AA degree in Accounting

· 5-7 years of consecutive payroll experience

· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and SAP

· Extensive ADP knowledge to include Reportsmith
