Our accounting team has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant in Addison, Texas, to support our diversified Health Solutions businesses with compilation and analysis of the financial information used to measure our progress and drive future success.Key Responsibilities Perform professional accounting duties as follows: ' Monthly financial statement preparation ' Analytical review of income statements and balance sheets' Variance analysis of fluctuations and unusual transactions' Audit schedules maintained as necessary' Interact with business unit managers on inquiries related to financial results' Effectively communicate issues and recommendations to varying levels of management' Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts' Assist with budget preparation' Complete bank reconciliations of assigned business unit accounts' Complete other assignments as required Qualifications' Minimum: Bachelors degree in accounting (CPA preferred)' Three to five years demonstrated progressive experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting' Possesses:' A high level of proficiency in Excel required' Oracle eBusiness Suite experience a plus' Excellent interpersonal and team player skills' A proven ability to communicate with all levels of management' A proven ability to function independently as an analytical self-starter' A strong work ethic and desire to excel.'
