Responsibilities include:Use sound business judgment and knowledge of tax law and accounting theory to determine the proper accounting for the tax impact of assigned transactions and/or events impacting the organization.  Prepare, analyze and review federal and state income tax accounting and regulatory reporting across multiple regulatory and non-regulatory legal entities. Prepare the tax section of financial statement footnotes and disclosures.  Provide information for budgets and forecast models and review related reports.  Analyze and reconcile income tax accounts while identifying, and evaluating the justification for any variances.  Support and work closely with the tax compliance staff to ensure consistency in tax return and tax accounting presentations.  Prepare and present technical tax issues impacting business units of the organization in a nontechnical manner in order to enhance understanding of the methodology being utilized, including recommendations for change where advantageous.  Assist with special projects and requests as required.

Qualifications Required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.  Minimum of  2-3 years experience in tax (corporate or public accounting or combination of both) Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) An advanced degree and professional certification (CPA, MBA) is preferred Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.  Experience with CORPTAX or Tax Stream software
