Staff Accountant

Our client, a Fortune 500 company, headquartered in Princeton, NJ seeks a Staff Accountant. In this complex, highly visible position, the incumbent is responsible for, but not limited to:Daily accounting responsibilities in preparation for month end close Accurately close the books on a monthly basis Assist with financial reporting Assist in the budget preparation, forecasting and variance analysis journal entry preparation general ledger account reconciliations and analysis Assist with special projects as requested by management

The ideal candidate possesses a BS Degree in Accounting, 2-4 years of related experience, public accounting experience a plus, CPA or parts passed desired, knowledge of GAAP, ability to solve problems, advanced knowledge of MS Excel, excellent communication skills.
