A very profitable Advertising & Marketing agency is now seeking a Staff Accountant to joing the team of professionals. Firm does over 70 million in annual sales and is looking for an experienced professional to assist in the accounting department.

 

Candidate should be able to maintain general ledgers and prepare monthly financial statements and various monthly analysis on a timely basis.

 

Duties:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for taxing on a timely basis.Monitor systems for compliance with procedures and revise procedures as necessary.Identify and resolve any major discrepancies.Communicate with personnel at the entities to achieve company goals and assist in their compliance with company policies and procedures.May also be involved with miscellaneous financial reporting projects.

 

Requirements: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Admin preferred Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) is preferredProficient with personal computers and standard desktop office applications Oracle experience a plus Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
