Staff Accountant

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Assist in month end closing processPrepare journal entries for multiple entitiesPerform variance analysis on P&L Reconcile and analyze activity of balance sheet accounts Perform bank reconciliations Prepare audit schedules and assist with annual auditsKeys to Success

Qualified candidates will have:BS in Accounting, Business, or Finance A minimum of 3-5 years progressive experience in general accounting sufficient to acquire basic understanding of the general ledger along with the fixed assets, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable sub-ledgersStrong GAAP knowledge Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; intermediate Excel skills are essentialStrong analytical and organization skills

Desired Experience:Great Plains experience a plusKnowledge of project accounting desiredExperience in multi-entity environment, including posting inter-company transactions and reconciling inter-company accounts
