Staff Accountant

Our dynamic pharmaceutical research firm is looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant for a project to hire opportunity. We offer superior service to our customers to maintain our leading position with drug discovery. Individual must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience along with previous biotech or pharmaceutical experience is a plus.

Skills/Qualifications:Working knowledge of accounting for revenue recognition and contracts2+ years Great Plains and FRx software preferredBachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent business field3+ years experience with the whole Accounting processAbility to create a cash flow statement manually

Job Duties:
Monthly accounting responsibilities include the timely and accurate completion of the following items:Prepare journal entries with appropriate support documentation Reconcile accounts for all responsible companies Analyze and reconcile all bank accounts Process all bank deposits Prepare financial reports Prepare budgets and forecasts as required Prepare and analyze actual versus budget variance reports Document job functions and responsibilities Prepare any other ad-hoc reports/schedules as required by the Accounting Manager
