Staff Accountant - Entry level position with a growing company!

Neighborhood Diabetes is a rapidly growing, ten year old company in the medical supply field (diabetes supplies in particular), looking to add enthusiastic, capable and hard-working members to our growing team. We have a unique approach that truly ‘helps to make a difference’ in the lives of people with diabetes.

The CFO is looking for a bright, energetic person to help grow the accounting department. This is an ideal position for someone just starting out in the Accounting field that is looking to gain experience and grow with the company.

Responsibilities include:

• G/L entries
• Bank Account Reconciliation
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Other small projects, working in conjunction with the CFO and upper management, will provide excellent learning opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have a BA/BS with a Major or Minor in Accounting or Finance; 0-3 years accounting experience; be organized; able to work independently with minimal supervision; and possess excellent computer skills.

Experience with Quickbooks, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Access is preferred but not required.

This is a full-time salaried position which includes an attractive benefits package (after a brief probationary period). Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
