Routinely communicates with the ATSC program manager or other project personnel. Independently prepares reports, attachments, schedules, addenda, and various analyses. Investigates, analyzes, audits, and reconciles billing and receivables data in accordance with established accounting policy. Interprets contract requirements and prepares invoices and reports to meet these requirements. Works well with others and handles day-to-day situations with an acceptable, reasonable approach.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Maintains strict confidentiality of corporate initiatives and directives. Adheres to ATS standards, policies and procedures.Reviews work products for correctness, and for progress in accordance with schedules.Completes projects within established timeframes.Monitors daily tasks to ensure that errors do not cause delay, expense and disruption of business operations.Creates and maintains various reports and financial statements in an accurate and timely mannerPerforms related duties as required.Required SkillsThis position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or the equivalent education and/or experience (2 years). Deltek GCS Premier (Billing module) accounting software expertise is required.Required Experience5 years of accounting and billing experience in a government contracting environment is necessary. Persons at this level must have previous experience billing T&M and FP government contracts. Must be able to identify and resolve billing issues. Must be able to work with ATSC project and program managers. Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Knowledge of contract master file maintenace and workforce set-up and commercial billing experience is a plus.
