Staff Accountant - Law Firm

The main responsibilities include:

· Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information

· Prepare monthly financial reports

· Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries to general ledger

· Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital

· Banking transactions, wire transfers

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and 1-2 years experience in a professional services environment (preferably a large law firm)

· High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including a strong working knowledge of Excel

· Detail oriented, good customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external clients

· Self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision

· Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively
