Staff Accountant for Fortune 1000 Company

Lauderdale is looking for a Staff Accountant for their corporate accounting department.  This person will be responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, and assist with the month-end close process.You will also get involved in cost analysis, pricing, and analyzing raw materials.  You will also get exposure to financial reporting, internal audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley - all skills that will help build the foundation to your career.

The ideal candidate MUST have a Bachelors degree in accounting along with 2 years of experience.  Strong Excel skills are required along with solid communication skills and a professional demeanor.  Cost Accounting or manufacturing experience is a huge plus but not required.
