Staff / Senior Accountant

A growing, publicly traded company in Rockville, MD is looking to immediately hire a Staff and a Senior Accountant. These are newly created positions due to company growth. 

 

Responsibilities for both positions will include:

 Perfom general accounts payable tasksMaintain the general ledger (G/L)Prepare account reconciliationsAssist with financial reportingAssist with month end close

 

Requirements - Senior Accountant

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 5 years general accounting experience is desirable Must have experience with monthly close, SOX compliance and fixed assets Strong analytical and communication skills a must Ability multitask, prioritize, and troubleshoot issues Applicants must possess a thorough and careful approach to work

 

Requirements - Staff Accountant

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting strongly preferred2-5 years general accounting experience is desirable  Strong analytical and communication skills a must Ability multitask, prioritize, and troubleshoot issues Applicants must possess a thorough and careful approach to work

Salary: Staff Accountant - $55,000 / Senior Accountant - $80,000
