Staff/Senior Accountant (kz)  50k to 65k + bonus

 

Morris County, NJ Based Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Company

 

Position Description:


Perform daily, monthly, and year-end financial accounting functions including preparing and posting journal entries as well as the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.  Additional responsibilities include record monthly short term borrowing postings, prepare monthly reporting of results to parent company located in our Parsippany, NJ location.  Prepare monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts - Complete various balance sheet reconciliations assigned to this position while ensuring a full understanding of the balance for each account. 

Position Requirements & Education Minimum: 

 

BA/BS degree in Accounting or Business.
3-5 years in a strong general accounting role.
Good knowledge of accounting theory and applications, including IAS and US GAAP
PC Proficiency with MS Office products and financial accounting systems (SAP).
Strong communication skills and is a self-starter with strong analytical skills.
