State Tax Manager

Position Description:-Controllership Function: 50% -Preparing, analyzing, and/or reviewing state tax returns and estimates -Preparing, analyzing, and/or reviewing quarterly GAAP and statutory tax provisions and supporting documentation -Preparing, analyzing, and/or reviewing reconciliation of tax liability accounts (quarterly and annually), including SFAS 109 analysis -Forecasting taxable income for all companies for the tax long range forecast -Preparing, analyzing, and/or reviewing Forecasted GAAP tax expense for MYP, Op Plan and product line projections -Identifying planning opportunities during compliance process -Responding to questions from management, auditors and regulatory agencies regarding tax mattersBasic: -BA/BS in Accounting (or equivalent) -5 to 10 years tax accounting experience, with emphasis in state taxation and income tax accounting (SFAS 109) David.Capizzi@ajilonfinance.com  Salary/Pay Rate: 100,000-130,000 plus bonus About Ajilon Ajilon Professional Staffing is a leader in recruiting and project consulting, with specialty divisions in finance & accounting, management & office support, and legal.
