Statutory Financial Reporting Manager

 

SS&C Direct, a division of SS&C Technologies, Inc., is an investment processing service group that provides back office accounting and reporting support to SS&C Direct clients. We are searching for a Manager to manage Statutory Reporting for Insurance clients. Responsibilities include: * Oversee the investment accounting and reporting deliverables for Statutory Reporting, Fixed Income and Hedge products * Liaison with day-time management team * Learn all job responsibilities to be able to provide and/or coordinate coverage for vacation or other absences * Ensure procedures are documented and updated for changes * Coordinate issue resolution and manage client relationships * Assist with new client implementations and special projects * Review deliverables

  Job qualifications include:  * Strong experience with Fixed Income products and Statutory Reporting * Minimum of a BS degree in Accounting or Finance * 4+ years of investment accounting or equivalent work experience * Experience in supervising and developing staff * Experience in guiding staff on issue resolution * Proven ability to meet daily deliverables * Excellent communication skills * Ability to multi-task effectively * Experience using Excel, Access, Crystal report writer, and Bloomberg Pluses include: * MBA and/or CPA in Accounting or Finance * Experience using CAMRA and doing macros in Excel
