CITY/STATE: Tempe, AZ 85282POSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/InsuranceEDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's DegreeSALARY: 15.00 - 24.04 USD /hour REFERENCE CODE: MM - 4/14/08 - JE Supervisor of Billing Services - Tempe     Our client located in Tempe is looking for a great Supervisor of Billing Services.  This is a growing company looking to add people to their team!!!!!  Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Prepare timely and accurate customer invoices, monthly statements and activity reports Execution of periodic and monthly close process; journal entries and timely account ledger reconciliations Interface with Sales Operations, Engineering, IT and General Accounting Initiate and assist in the development key operations metrics to improve billing and customer service processes. Variance analysis and reporting Strict adherence to Sarbanes Oxley 404 processes and controls surrounding billing practices and procedures.  Sox Compliance; – Self test and assess the department’s controls and key controls in the self-assessment tool. Process and Procedures; - Ongoing update to procedures to ensure current practices are accurately reflected in written processes and procedures Special projects Position Requirements: Experience with software for billing applications MAS200 experience preferred but some accounting software experience required Effective partnering with internal customers. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative nature. Good supervisory skills, results oriented and hands on.  Desktop skills including Excel, Word a significant plus. A high comfort level with working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and frequent tight deadlines. Experience / Competencies Bachelor’s degree required.  Any degree in business related field is a significant plus. 5-7 years of progressive billing/accounting experience Excellent analytical, organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
