Our Indianapolis office is seeking experienced audit and tax supervisors or managers.  Ideal candidates will have a minimum of four years of experience in public accounting and must be a CPA.

 

Supervisors or managers must have a thorough understanding of technical requirements and firm policy related to client services assigned and be able to propose practical, supportable resolutions to technical questions; plan assignments, supervise and assist others in accomplishing assigned procedures; recognize problems, propose realistic budgets and deadlines and place high priority in meeting goals; develop good client contacts to seek new service opportunities and be alert to marketing leads within the client base; develop contacts with others in the business, professional or civic community; accurately complete and review difficult client engagements on a timely basis; identify risks and problems through review and see that engagements are completed with defendable files and documentation; objectively evaluate technical skills and behavioral traits in supervisors, seniors and staff; successfully manage multiple concurrent engagements within time allotted.

 

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of four years of public accounting experience

· Must be a licensed CPA

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a solid understanding of accounting theory and practices

· Dedication to teamwork and leadership

· Proficient in MS Office tools, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

· Ability to travel regionally to serve clients
