Combining both industry and technology skills, Synergistic provides technology strategy, process improvement, software selection, custom development, packaged software, security analysis, and network services. Key Responsibilities:Performs system analysis by assisting clients in determining how business requirements can be automated and integrated into the rest of their business and technical processes. Designs customizations and develop functional specifications for client custom programming requirements. Provides project estimates for customization projects Creates efficient, structured, and logical code according to standards and client specification. Maintains correct revision level control and client repositories. Performs quality assurance testing and debugging of programs. Analyze error occurrences and make additional changes as necessary. Writes retrofit upgrades and maintenance, as applicable. Provides technical support to clients remotely over telephone and remote access. Assists Consultants and Application Support with client problems requiring programming expertise. Performs administrative tasks as required by company policy, such as time keeping. Performs other duties as assigned. 4 year technical degree, preferably in Computer Science or MIS from an accredited school. 2 - 4 plus years of development experience required Experienced programmer in any of the following: MAS 90/200, Navision, MAS 500, or SalesLogix is desired. Strong analytical skills and the ability to determine how a proposed customization will integrate with the overall business process. Thorough understanding of the technical issues and language/coding skills required for successful maintenance and development releases. Background in MS development (Object Oriented, VB/VBA/.NET). Database design and development in SQL. Experience in other related technical areas (databases, EDI, third-party add ons). Understanding of accounting procedures, terminology and standard practices. Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.Ability to prioritize and work independently and as a team member. Willingness to provide phone support and/or end-user training along with primary programming activities. Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work well under pressure of deadlines. Working understanding of standard manufacturing/distribution practices. Ability to work independently and to manage projects from conception through deployment. Candidate needs to be able to think 'outside the box' and posses a 'can do' attitude. Must have creativity and innovation and the desire to lead in a fun, fast-paced environment.
