TAX ANALYST

LARGE COMPANY IN Washington, DC,  IS SEARCHING FOR A TAX ANALYST. The Tax analyst is responsible for supporting the manager in ensuring that financial accounting for income taxes.  Tax Analyst with 3 to 5 years of public Accounting or experience in a Corporate accounting role.  He or she will be responsible for:   Maintaining necessary accounting records; coordinating with external/ internal Financial Reporting teams; and preparing related journal entries. Ensure that financial accounting for income taxes is consistent with all Tax politicizes and procedures and are kept up to date for all major book/tax adjustments.  Research and analyze financial transactions for proper treatment. Work with Legal, Financial Reporting and Portfolio to analyze treatment of potential new products and services and anticipate all downstream and upstream issues. Ensure that tax policies and procedures are up to date.  Update tax data, as necessary.Qualifications  Bachelor or Masters Degrees in Accounting, Mathematics, Finance, or other related fields Three to five years experience in accounting, tax, or related field.
