Tax Accountant

Our client, located in Carlsbad, is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their accounting team.  The company is dedicated to internal growth and development of employees.  They are constantly expanding, offer a competitive compensation plan, and have a team-oriented work environment.

 

This position will be responsible for the following:

 



• Assist with tax return preparation process including the federal and state tax returns and maintain tax records



 

• Assist with state and local tax correspondence

 

• Prepare various tax filings

 

• Assist with other tax issues, i.e. sales & use tax, excise tax, property tax, payroll tax, etc.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

• 1-3 years of corporate tax experience

 

• Practical knowledge of tax and accounting



• Strong computer skills requires
