Tax Accountant Project Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced tax accountant to assist with compliance issues with regard to federal, state, and local income, franchise, road and fuel and vehicle taxes, permits and licenses. Ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about state, provincial and local taxing authorities and about various laws and regulations that create a tax liablity for an individual company. Responsiblities will include ensuring any applicable taxes are appropriately collected, all returns are filed accurately and timely and that all related transactions and liablilites are appropriately recorded and interact actively with tax auditor.Position requires a BS Accounting and a strong background in sales and use tax accounting, solid understanding of tax and financial accounting and a working knowledge of GAAP.This is an immediate need so apply today for immediate consideration!  Accountants Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
