Tax/Audit Accountant for Large Local CPA Firm

Thomas, Judy & Tucker, P.A., a growing local firm in Raleigh, NC, is seeking CPA’s or CPA candidates to join its tax and/or audit staff.  We are looking for professionals with two to five years of experience in public accounting to be an integral part of our 60+  person staff.

 

We offer 38 hour work-weeks with half-day Fridays outside of tax season as well as reasonable expectations for hours during tax season.  All staff accountants are compensated for any overtime worked in and out of tax season.  We are a family-oriented firm with a reputation for excellence in the Raleigh/Durham area.  We have served Triangle businesses and individuals for over 18 years and we are still experiencing steady revenue growth year after year.

 

We work in a variety of industries for privately held companies including construction, land development, multiple-location restaurants, hospitality, retail, manufacturing and distribution, as well as religious and other non-profit organizations.  Our employees enjoy the opportunity to work closely with the owners and management of middle-market companies and established family-owned businesses.

 

The ideal candidate would have audit experience working with a variety of clients as well as tax experience preparing returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations.  Strong communication skills are required for managing and developing client relationships.
